Writing Home Reference Materials Teaching Tools Videos Websites  Teaching Tools Six Trait Posters These posters, created by Donna Baker, can be found on the ReadingLady.com website.  The posters were designed after seeing Vicki Spandel at two workshops and reading her books Creating Writers and Seeing With New Eyes. She suggests to introduce the traits one at a time.  Read lots of stories that demonstrate the traits and show students examples of writing that includes strong and weak use of the traits.  The posters are available in both Word and PDF formats.   Sign In
