 International Children's Digital Library: This is an excellent web resource if you are looking for a book about a particular culture or in a particular language.  The site contains a collection of 4,000 beautiful, downloadable picture books representing historical and modern books from countries around the world, in many languages.  Visitors can search books by country, language, author and title.
