everythingESL offers strategies, resources, lesson plans, teaching tips and a component for interacting with other ESL professionals. It also offers web sites with activities for elementary students to enhance their English language skills.

 

Dave's ESL Cafe is the Internet’s worldwide meeting place for ESL teachers and students.  This site provides information and tools ranging from lesson ideas/plans, to quizzes, slang, and other web-based ESL resources.

 

Colorincolorado is a  bilingual site for teachers and parents of ELL students which provides  articles, resources and activities by grade level ranging from pre-k through 12th grade.  This site is designed to assist teachers of ELLs  in developing greater reading skills through current research-based resources.

 

A New Light on Literacy: Early Reading Intervention for English Language Learners

These videos and companion lessons offer examples of effective research-based strategies. Teachers, administrators, and parents can see the strategies in action and then read the lessons for a more detailed description of the procedures. The materials can be utilized in a variety of ways, including professional development sessions, parent or tutor training classes, and community meetings.
